HR Generalist 

Forward Emphasis International are currently recruiting for an experienced HR Generalist.

Your role will be to assist in developing and delivering human resource projects, plans and strategies that improve overall organisational capabilities and performance and to ensure efficient personnel management and compliance with policies and regulations.

This role will play a key role in the formulation and implementation of the Company's employment ethos & culture.

Successful Candidate must be available to work onsite in our Malin Head office.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide guidance to management and staff on company policies and employee relations issues, ensuring adherence to legislation and maintaining consistency across the organization.
  • Managing and advising on employment legislation; developing and implementing policies on a variety of workplace issues e.g. disciplinary procedures, grievance procedures, absence management, working conditions, performance management and equal opportunities.
  • Where required help Coordinate the recruitment process, including job postings, resume screening, and interview scheduling.
  • Assist with the recruitment process and facilitate new hire induction by identifying candidates, conducting reference checks and issuing employment contracts.
  • Facilitate new hire inductions and training and update records of staff.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential HR records and databases, including payroll changes, reporting, and attendance keeping.
  • Assist in the development and updating of HR policies and procedures to comply with legal requirements.
  • Support performance management processes, including employee performance improvement plans, goal setting and feedback sessions.
  • Participate in HR projects and initiatives aimed at improving processes and practices.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • Minimum of 2 years of HR experience and will have a good solid understanding of Irish employment law and procedures desirable.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • CIPD accreditation desirable, or at least working towards accreditation
  • Knowledge of MS Office applications.
  • Strong knowledge of employment legislation and experience in conflict management.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to provide constructive feedback.
  • High level of integrity and ability to handle sensitive information confidentially.
  • Strong organizational agility and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.
